Heavenly chocolates from Osnabrück for more than 100 years

The chocolates from Chocolaterie und Manufaktur Leysieffer are a particularly delicious tradition. In April 1909, Ulrich Leysieffer fulfilled his dream of owning his own confectionery café. Since then, handmade chocolates, jams, marzipan figures and a variety of pastries have been displayed in the shop window on Krahnstraße in the old town of Osnabrück. Even though there are now Leysieffer branches in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and even on Sylt, the parent company remains in Osnabrück. Tradition also plays a major role in the product range. The aim is not to offer more and more different products, but to make classics out of good products. One such classic is 'Leysieffer Himmlische': a genuine secret recipe from the Leysieffer family dating back to 1950, about which we can only reveal so much: A truly 'heavenly' cream filling awaits you inside the praline, which is covered in milk chocolate and a sugar crust. Whether you buy a single "Himmlische" in the typical heart-shaped tin or a whole pack straight away, the pralines make a lovely souvenir from Osnabrück. Café Leysieffer also serves lunch dishes that change daily.
