The gourmet restaurant IKO in Osnabrück is an absolute flavour experience. The menu offers menus with international and regional courses.
The Michelin Guide writes: "The three areas "Iko-Flowers", "Iko-Atelier" and "Iko-Restaurant" have been successfully combined here. The result: an attractive, linear, modern interior with a trendy, rustic touch, floral decorations from the adjoining shop and handmade crockery from the integrated pottery. In the open-plan kitchen, selected products are transformed into a modern and creative menu with five or seven courses - including vegetarian options. The chefs serve the dishes themselves. Charming and skilful, they are also happy to recommend non-alcoholic cocktails they have created themselves."
The restaurant was planned and designed by Tom Elstermeyer. Nothing is left to chance here. Dark colours for a feel-good atmosphere, feng shui elements to calm you down, solid wood furniture and an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs at work.
Unusual: Tom Elstermeyer not only makes his own pottery to showcase a dish. He also gives pottery workshops in which participants can design their own crockery.
