Probebühne

In the many years of its existence, the Probebühne, whose venue is housed in a former commandery church, has developed an independent dramaturgical line: highlights have been premieres of previously unknown dramatic plays by the novelist Erich Maria Remarque. However, the repertoire also includes plays by the "Burnt Poets" from the National Socialist era and rarely performed dramatic works by well-known German authors.

Due to fire safety regulations, the building is currently not open to the public. The Probebühne is therefore switching to alternative venues in Osnabrück such as the emma theatre of the Osnabrück Theatre or the erstes unordentliches zimmertheater.
