Probebühne

In the many years of its existence, the rehearsal theatre, whose venue is housed in a former commandery church, has developed an independent dramaturgical line: highlights have been premieres of previously unknown dramatic plays by the novelist Erich Maria Remarque. However, the repertoire also includes plays by the "Burnt Poets" from the National Socialist era and rarely performed dramatic works by well-known German authors.

Due to fire safety regulations, the building is currently not open to the public. The rehearsal theatre is therefore switching to alternative venues in Osnabrück. After a series of performances in the 1st Disorderly Room Theatre, the PROBEBÜHNE will be able to show its new play "Otello darf nicht platzen" by Ken Ludwig from April to September 2024 in the emmaTheater of the Städtische Bühnen Osnabrück.
