Osnabrück's Hasequartier owes its name to the river that flows through it. For far too long it was hidden under a concrete cover until the city river was finally brought back into the daylight in the Hasequartier in 2016. Since then, the Hase has been able to breathe again in the city.

Kolkmeyer's Haus der Weltzeituhren offers brand new collections from renowned watch manufacturers as well as jewellery, jewels and wedding rings for fans of unusual accessories. And the Neumarkt pharmacy offers all the necessary medicines as well as products from the fields of naturopathy and medical cosmetics. Visitors can linger in the Café Cup&Cino with seating right on the Hase.
