Welcome to the reality of consumers. Consumers have the power! Or do they? Although consumers are trying so hard, little is happening in terms of waste avoidance, recycling and upcycling. In the CircleZeit project funded by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (German Federal Environmental Foundation), the Stadtensemble Jugend is exploring the perspectives of consumers.

The young actors immerse themselves in the history of our consumption. They look at the importance of recycling, conscious consumption and sustainable decisions.

With plenty of humor and food for thought, the production leads us to think about our own habits and how we can bring about positive change together. Or does society just need to come up with a new word for "garbage" to avoid a discourse?
