Ledenhof

Stone works, Place to see, Romanesque architecture
The Ledenhof is the most important civic building in Osnabrück.

It consists of the main building with a stair tower and the much older, higher stone work. The Ledenhof opposite the castle once belonged to the influential Leden family. Its striking diagonal painting corresponds to the historically authenticated design. Today, the Ledenhof is home to the Literature Office of West Lower Saxony and the German Foundation for Peace Research. Cultural events take place in its Renaissance hall.
