The actor Siemen Rühaak, well-known from film and radio, will once again lead the audience through several centuries with empathy and great intensity in a varied text course: Animals were and are tamed, trained and trimmed to perform tricks, but also hunted mercilessly. Their habitat has been increasingly restricted.
It is this frequently changing, often astonishing view of animals over the course of time that Siemen Rühaak brings to the 'stage'. He shares this stage with numerous audible and visible animal colleagues; the sound was composed by Udo Becker.
The reading marks the start of a series of readings over several years under the title "ganz natürlich" (all natural), organized jointly by the Landschaftsverband Osnabrücker Land e. V. and the Literaturbüro Westniedersachsen. The starting point in each case is the Osnabrück of the Justus Möser era and contrasts texts from that time with today's poetry and prose.
The actor, musician, director and author Siemen Rühaak will lead through the evening. He is best known for his leading roles in various film and theater productions, television films and series (e.g. Tatort). He also demonstrates his versatility in staged readings, audio books and concerts. Siemen Rühaak is a Grimme Award winner. Most recently he filmed with Fatih Akin ("Gegen die Wand") in the movie "Amrum".
We would like to thank the city of Osnabrück for its support.
