Tea and literature - they've always belonged together. The well-known reading series Texte mit T is therefore really on tour: Jan Brandt, Sebastian Stuertz and Sylvie Gühmann have already read in the beautiful fireplace room of the Literaturhaus Berlin, several times in the snowy teahouse Planten un Blomens and even in Schleswig, Papenburg and on Norderney. The aim is to bring this intangible cultural heritage to the world - and to do what people in East Frisia have always done - get together over a cup of tea.

 

 

The three writers with East Frisian roots will talk about their beloved tea in books, columns and, above all, texts freshly typed for the venues. The stories are above all cozy, occasionally funny and sometimes even adventurous. Language barriers such as Low German and Swabian have already been broken - with one text, the time continuum even dissolved along with the Kluntje in the middle of the reading. Not only the ZEIT, but also NDR Kultur, the Hamburger Morgenpost and many other media outlets have found that a visit is worthwhile.

 

 

Above all, of course, the guests feel the same way. So far, Texte mit T has sold out almost every venue and sometimes ensures repeat offenders. In Osnabrück, the three are accompanied by the wonderful Thiele family. Wearing pine-green aprons, the experts taste their great Assam leaf blend for the audience.
