Action cabaret and satire with Onkel Fisch

Action cabaret and satire with a little pinch of extra madness will be presented by the duo "Onkel Fisch" at the invitation of the municipality of Wallenhorst on Friday (April 25) at 8 pm in the sports hall on Fröbelstraße.

Onkel Fisch are the bearers of hope in the German satirical landscape. And wherever they go, they bring hope with them. Their motto: You can always despair. It's far too easy to rant about everything: climate change, war, prices, AfD, Berlin, Donald Trump or the current German Eurovision Song Contest entry. In the constant bombardment of doomsayers and wiseacres, many people believe they are already on the brink. Perhaps - but the best view is also from the precipice. Most things are primarily a question of perspective. It doesn't really matter whether the glass is half full or half empty. More important: we have something to drink! The two movement fanatics spread hope wherever they can. And how they can: With fun, singing, dancing and all at German speed and in slow motion. A modern cabaret show that bounces between expectation and attitude. Of course, Heiner Müller once said: optimism is just a lack of information. But you have to add: so is pessimism! Uncle Fish are on a hopeful satirical mission across the country to strengthen our mental defenses. And that's pretty funny!

Action cabaret and satire in a class of its own

Onkel Fisch, that's Adrian Engels and Markus Riedinger. They make action cabaret. They combine sophisticated content and biting analysis with uninhibited comedy. On stage, on the radio and on television. The two gentlemen in black suits began their collaboration in 1994 and have been working together as authors, directors, speakers and actors ever since. To date, the playful duo has appeared on stage in twenty-two full-length programs. With their current production "Hoffnung - ein Serviervorschlag" (Hope - A Serving Suggestion), they are touring the leading cabaret stages in Germany. Onkel Fisch always present that little pinch of extra madness in a perfectly coordinated team.

Advance ticket sales

Tickets are available in advance at Wallenhorst Town Hall (Rathausallee 1) and at Schreibwaren Vornholt (Schneidling 7) at a price of 25 euros. Tickets can be ordered online at noz.ticketcenter.de. With the Wallenhorster Kulturcard 2025, the advance booking price is only 17 euros.
