Glaubenssachen – Klöster und Krippen im Osnabrücker Land

Exhibition period 28.11.24 to 10.01.2024 during the opening hours of the Kreishaus

The same applies to monasteries and convents, which are part of Christian church history, but are still places of special living today. Cribs can also be found in monasteries and monastery churches time and again.

Prof. Dr. Gerhard Lohmeier, honorary chairman of the Association of Crib Friends Osnabrücker Land and Emsland e.V., shows special cribs in the exhibition "Glaubenssachen - Klöster und Krippen im Osnabrücker Land". The focus is on the crib of crib friend and crib collector Reinhold Hellmich, who died in 2015. This nativity scene depicts an entire village on its way to the nativity scene&nbsp.

The photographer Uwe Lewandowski shows unusual perspectives on well-known monastery areas from the Osnabrücker Land region, particularly with his aerial photographs.  In addition to the monastery photos by Uwe Lewandowski, pictures of nativity scenes from the respective monasteries can be seen. </p
