TRIO TIFFANY: "It was always so beautiful with you!" - 10 years of TRIO TIFFANY

Katrin Janssen-Oolo (mezzo-soprano), Hansdieter Meier (violin) and Ingeborg Weyer (piano) present musical jewels from the years 1930 - 1980 in their new program. The motto "Bei Dir war es immer so schön" is based on the bitter-sweet title of the same name by Theo Mackeben from 1938. The overall character of the anniversary concert is thus aptly outlined, with numerous "beautiful" melodies by composers such as Werner Bochmann, Peter Kreuder, Heino Gaze and Peter Fenyes. The program also includes titles that are also "beautiful", but have a rather sad and tragic mood: e.g. from the feature film "La Califfa" or from the musical "Les Misérables". The program is complemented by jazz standards such as "Fly me to the Moon", Lullaby of Birdland" and "Stormy Weather" or other "classics" such as "Core 'ngrato" and "My Way".
The concert will be hosted by Joachim Weyer.
TRIO TIFFANY will be performing at Lutherhaus Osnabrück for the first time.

TRIO TIFFANY has quickly made a name for itself in the Osnabrück area since its foundation in 2014. It presents melodies from films, musicals, operettas and jazz as well as Neapolitan songs. Pieces for voice and piano, for violin and piano and ensemble pieces alternate. One of their trademarks is the absence of any sound technology, so that the human voice or the violin and piano can be heard unamplified and therefore unadulterated.
