"Formel Eins" was one of the most successful shows of the 1980s - and Peter Illmann was one of the best-known presenters. On 1 February 2025, he will bring the music of that time to Hydepark in Osnabrück. He will invite the audience to dance along. VJ (Video DJ ) Dirk Duske will mix the video clips he has restored and present them in a visual and sonic quality never seen before on an impressive full HD LED video wall. The audience loves this party concept, which at first glance seems a little unusual - and seems to be contagious. How can you stand still when Michael Jackson is performing "Thriller" in all its splendour? Of course, Peter Illmann loves pop music from the 80s. Now Peter Illmann is reviving this era with a special series of events. At "80s in Motion", he and VJ Dirk Duske will present a tasteful, danceable, rousing mix of the best pop videos of the 80s live on stage.
If you were young in the 80s and interested in music, you couldn't get past the video clip show "Formel Eins". Here - and only here - the biggest German and international hits were presented more than 300 times a week between 1983 and 1990. Peter Illmann was the first presenter of the successful show, followed by Ingolf Lück, Stefanie Tücking and Kai Böcking.
