On January 17, 2025, the municipal music and art school invites you to its first MKS NITE in the new year: Under the motto "Everything can, nothing must", the meeting place for music, art and the public will once again open its doors in the Kunstwerkstatt (Johannistorwall 12 a) at 8 pm. This time the theme is "Combinations". Nicole Goedereis-Buller (flute), Astrid Stiening (clarinet) and Katharina Betten (saxophone) will play together with pianist Verena Müller in various combinations of music by Johannes Brahms, Astor Piazzolla, Jaques Ibert and other composers. The colorful sounds of French Impressionism permeate the program, and special instruments such as the bass clarinet can also be heard. The evening, which will be rounded off with an artistic intervention in keeping with the theme, will, as always, end on a sociable note with drinks, finger food and conversation. Admission is free.
