The so-called Disney Renaissance lasted from 1989 to 1999. With films such as Ariel, Hercules, Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, the company built on the successes of its founding period and played its way into the hearts of children from all over the world, not least thanks to the soundtracks by Alan Menken. Even without the accompanying films, the songs have not lost their value. This is reason enough for the Unipop Choir, soloists from the institute and a project band to dedicate themselves to some of the songs from the films and present them in familiar or new guises.

The evening's soloists have qualified in an audition and will be coached by Gülfidan Söylemez and the new head of vocal studies Julian Popken.
