Born in Gainesville, Georgia (USA), Ingrid Arthur is one of the most powerful voices in the history of music. She is not only a wonderful singer, she is the goddess of soul with her rich and traditional gospel background with the influence of Aretha Franklin, Mavis Staples, Mahalia Jackson!

During her career, Ingrid has worked with many international stars. Among others, she was a background singer for 1996 and 1997 Grammy Award winner Cissy Houston (mother of Whitney Houston), "Face to Face" and "He Leadeth me" and for 1995 Grammy Award winner Bette Midler with the song of the year "From A Distance".

She has performed on various stages in New York, Paris, London and Berlin and has been rewarded with standing ovations everywhere for her professionalism, personable appearance and unique voice.

Whenever the doors or curtains open for Ingrid, she uses the music and captivates the audience with her unique performance. She has already appeared on stage with great artists such as Tramaine Hawkins, Shirley Caesar and Dorothy Norwood.

Ingrid has recorded 2 albums as Weather Girl "Totally Wild" with Coconut records and "The Woman I Am" with Sonic Nerve.
