Four Imaginary Boys

Four Imaginary Boys - Germany's most sought-after and Europe's most booked The Cure tribute band - consists of four passionate musicians who have been passionately dedicated to the complete works of The Cure since 2006 and pay homage to the spirit of the legendary wave gods. When one speaks of The Cure, one thinks of the unmistakable and inimitable voice of Robert Smith. Imitation or even parody are out of the question, so it's just as well that the frontman of the Four Imaginary Boys seems to be a vocal soulmate. The Four Imaginary Boys are not interested in being pure clones of their heroes. It is much more important to them to create the unique atmosphere of the Cure songs with spherical sounds and sound surfaces and to transfer it to the audience. The real stars of the evening are therefore the immortal songs of The Cure, which have influenced generations of gothic/alternative/pop bands to this day. Last year, the Four Imaginary Boys collaborated with the well-known German music magazine Sonic Seducer to record a tribute CD to mark the anniversary of two The Cure albums ("Pornography" and "Wish"), which was distributed to all buyers and subscribers of Sonic Seducer. In addition to an interview, all concert dates have also been published in this issue. Our concert dates are still listed on the Sonic Seducer website.
