Experience the magical pre-Christmas season in the heart of Osnabrück: from 6 to 8 December 2024, the historic Heger-Tor district will be transformed into an atmospheric winter wonderland. Under the motto "Advent in the Old Town", we invite you to discover a unique Christmas market in the festively decorated courtyards and charming locations.

What to expect:

The venues offer something special for everyone:

• Moment's (Krahnstraße 3): Enjoy arts and crafts and aromatic mulled wine in a cosy atmosphere.
• Ev.luth. Kirchengemeinde St. Marien (Marienstraße 13): Make your own etagere or make candles - perfect for creative minds. Non-alcoholic mulled wine is also served here in cooperation with Heilpädagogische Hilfe.
• Speicherhaus (Motion Media, Marienstraße 9): Browse for unique Christmas presents in the pop-up gallery "Gifts, punch and lamps".
• Young Diversity (Heger Straße 11): The "NIKOLAUS STORE EVENT" awaits you with trendy fair fashion offers, fruity Christmas deals and mulled wine.
• at Heger Tor: "Majalis Schmuck", "Schönes aus Stoff": self-sewn bags and decorative items, "Schmuckstück Osnabrück": wooden blocks with Osnabrück motifs (Friday only), "Little Craft Corner": Handmade items with heart (Saturday and Sunday only)
• GlühGin, hot apple punch with TeutoFROST GIN from the TeutoGIN Distillery, Hot Aperol, Sansibar,  Mulled wine, hot punch, Kinnius grilled sausage and grilled cheese, pita with Kikok chicken and coleslaw + vegetarian fries

1. Wholy Christmas Market
The Whober is ringing in the festive season with its 1st Wholy Christmas Market. From 06 to 08 December 2024, the courtyard will be transformed into a small Christmas market and you are cordially invited to join us!
Look forward to the Christmas Spritzeria with everything that goes with it: mulled wine, hot aperol, punch, treats and gift shopping.
As a highlight: the first "WWWM": Whobert Christmas tree long throw championship. Who can throw the tree the furthest? Take part, donate to DKMS and win great prizes! Everyone can take part, whether small or large, old or young, strong or slim.

For families and film fans:

A winter open-air cinema awaits you in the backyard of the Haus der Jugend. Classics such as "Kevin - Alone at Home" and "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella" will not only make children's hearts beat faster.

The programme is accompanied by campfire romance with bread on a stick, fresh soups and hot drinks. For younger guests, there will be a Christmas children's meeting on Saturday with crafts and games - registration required!

As part of "Advent in the Old Town", Osnabrück families can look forward to a special highlight on Saturday, 7 December.
Children aged 8 to 14 can enjoy a creative afternoon of crafts, games and Christmas activities from 12 noon to 4 pm while their parents stroll through the festively decorated old town.
Participation is free, but registration is required as places are limited. Afterwards, the Christmas classic "Kevin - Alone at Home" will be shown in the open-air cinema in the inner courtyard. All families are welcome to stay for a hot drink after the creative afternoon.
