The new design

The centrepiece of the new appearance is an element that expresses connection and solidarity and thus one of the central strengths of our city: the "bridge element" as an "Ü" line, continued as a connecting line to the right and left of the logo. The Osnabrück wheel in a slightly modernised form takes the city's brand tradition into the future.

The new Osnabrück turquoise symbolises the combination of freshness and innovative strength with confidence, stability and joie de vivre.

One appearance - many strengths

In future, this new image will represent our city in all areas - be it in the media, at events or in the city administration's communications. And it will tell the story of what makes Osnabrück strong: the power to combine diversity.

This will create a brand that Osnabrückers can be proud of and that will have a uniform, powerful and forward-looking pull effect.

To the strengths

Osnabrück makes connections possible

Many companies, institutions, associations and communities feel connected to Osnabrück - and will soon be able to officially show it: This is because they will be allowed to design part of the logo in their colours in the new appearance, subject to prior approval.

In addition, the Osnabrück partnership brings together committed companies and provides targeted marketing support as well as the opportunity to jointly market Osnabrück's strengths - even beyond the city limits.

A strong connection

The new website is the result of close collaboration between the city of Osnabrück, Marketing Osnabrück GmbH and the Osnabrück-based creative agency MUUUH! Digital, which prevailed in a multi-stage tendering process. The design is now being realised in several small and large steps and will become the new face of our city in the future.

We want to give our city and region more than just a new design: namely a new story that shows our strengths and describes our path into the future.
