Osnabrück is hosting this Lower Saxony-wide festival for the first time, which will be celebrated for the 38th time next year. From 29 to 31 August 2025, Osnabrück will showcase its historical, cultural and innovative vitality under the motto "Osnabrück makes it happen". The event is all about volunteering, culture, history and diversity.
The three-day event will be accompanied by top stars on four large stages organised by the participating radio stations. In addition, the city will operate a stage at Neuer Graben and there will be several smaller stages for associations and institutions. Streetfood and themed trails will run through the city so that the whole family can experience the diverse and colourful side of Osnabrück. The "Day of Lower Saxony" is not just about celebrating, but also about learning and discovering new things. A total of nine exhibition areas are planned for around 200 clubs and associations as well as an "Osnabrück Mile" for start-ups, cultural and leisure facilities in the city.
As soon as the planning is more advanced, more detailed information, programme and stage plans will be available here.
If you would like to take part, you will find all the information and registration forms at Marketing Osnabrück GmbH.
