The Osnabrück spring market will take place from 4 to 13 April 2025 and the autumn market from 31 October to 9 November 2025.
In spring and autumn, the grounds at Halle Gartlage are transformed into a colourful fairground for 10 days. The area on Bohmter Straße attracts around 200,000 visitors during this time. On action and family days, rides and catering offer discounts.
The Osnabrück funfairs are aimed at young and old, with traditional carousels and action rides, from duck fishing to drinking games on wild rides, down-to-earth and fast-paced at around 130 kilometres per hour at a height of over 40 metres.
A must for funfair fans!
The Osnabrück Spring Fair kicks off on Friday, 4 April 2025, at 3:00 pm with a festive opening ceremony. As a special highlight, visitors can look forward to free rides for the first 30 minutes - the perfect start to ten days of fun and entertainment!
Young fair fans will also get their money's worth: in addition to popular classics such as duck fishing, ball throwing, trampoline jumping, the children's chain flyer and bag fishing, there are exciting new features this year. Skill is required for goal wall shooting and ring throwing - fun for the whole family!
The fair attracts visitors with a variety of savoury and sweet treats. In addition to popular classics such as grilled specialities, falafel, hand bread, langos and pasta from the cheese wheel, gourmets can look forward to new taste experiences: an oriental snack bar expands the range with spicy delicacies from the Middle East.
There are also tantalising novelties for those with a sweet tooth. In addition to the popular churros, crêpes and waffles, Baumstriezel will be offered for the first time this year. A Haribo stand, delicious snacks and refreshing milkshakes will provide even more sweet temptations!
In addition to the popular Family Day (Wednesday, 9 April), on which many rides and stands offer discounted prices, Ladies Night (Thursday, 10 April) invites female visitors to enjoy discounted carousel rides from 6 pm.
The safety of visitors is our top priority. The funfair follows a tried-and-tested safety concept that is specially tailored to the venue - so that all guests can celebrate without a care in the world.
Fairground companies rely on environmentally friendly solutions such as returnable jars, biodegradable food packaging and energy-efficient LED lighting.
More and more showgrounds are allowing card payment, but acceptance varies depending on the establishment. Visitors should therefore carry cash to be on the safe side.
On request, exhibitors will provide assistance with getting on and off the rides. However, complete accessibility is not guaranteed.
For families with small children, there are nappy-changing facilities at the toilet trailers. In addition, the bars offer seating that is also suitable for breastfeeding if required.
Free parking is available on the car park at Halle Gartlage. Parking is at your own risk, there is no valet parking or security service.
