Volunteers make it possible. The city library opens its doors to anyone who wants to shorten the waiting time until the bomb disposal. Families with children are particularly welcome. The entire range of books is available to read on site. Parents are also welcome to read to their children. There are also puzzles and board games to relieve boredom. And there are painting materials for little artists. If you would like to stay longer, you are also welcome to bring snacks and drinks with you.

The self-service terminals are also available.
As there will be no specialist staff present due to work regulations, however, there is no full service, which means, for example, that no library cards can be issued or renewed, no fees can be collected and no research inquiries can be answered.
