„Tandem interreligiös/ interkulturell“ Demokratiebildung – gegen Rassismus, Antisemitismus, Islamfeindlichkeit

Since the school year 2023/2024,
the Jewish-Muslim tandem
(Rabbi Dr. Gábor Lengyel
and Rumeysa Koç) has been visiting schools
in Lower Saxony.
Conflicts due to religious
affiliation and foreignness
are part of everyday life in Lower Saxony's
schools. Their workshop at
general and vocational
schools from the 10th grade onwards
enables pupils to
acquire knowledge of Islam and
Judaism in order to
develop a critical approach to
prejudices and stereotypes.
The
theoretical discussions
about both religions
can be enriched by the personal
encounter and the
first-hand knowledge imparted
.

and to report on their diverse
experiences and present them
to the public.
