On Saturday, July 12, the Waldbühne Kloster Oesede will be all about the little ones as the summer festival for kids enters its third round. This year, Frank and his friends, Anton and MUCKEMACHER will be shaking the stage. This is the perfect summer show weekend with Vanessa Mai, MNT-Mitmachmusical and Philipp Poisel during the Waldbühne summer break.

As the event name suggests, families can look forward to a real festival. In addition to a large show stage, there is plenty for young and old to discover on the Waldbühne grounds in Georgsmarienhütte - from face painting and coloring pictures to romping around on two bouncy castles. In the meantime, parents or accompanying adults can watch the hustle and bustle from the grandstand with a cold drink or chips and bratwurst from the kiosk or the VFL Kloster Oesede clubhouse. Parents and children can move freely around the grounds, which means that anyone who doesn't want to sit still doesn't have to. Fun and variety are guaranteed during the three-hour festival afternoon.

Frank and his friends already entertained visitors with the fidget toy last year. In 2025, he will be back in the region for the first time this year and then directly in Georgsmarienhütte with a new show. This year, he will be joined by the MUCKEMACHER and Anton. The MUCKEMACHER turn everything upside down that has shaped former listening habits in the children's room. From cumbia to hip-hop to funk, they perform the entire musical palette and are at times reminiscent of Culcha Candela. The content is about fun, friends and chocolate, but also about more serious topics such as bullying, environmental protection and tolerance - music with added value. As the third act in the group, Anton, a Berliner Schnäuzchen, sings about everyday situations in families, tricky decisions and beautiful moments to pop, modern beats. His debut album "ertappt" is about mistakes that happen, dreams for the future that everyone is allowed to have and the fact that everyone has the right to their own head and thoughts.

The Kidsfestival is suitable for children aged three and over with their parents, grandparents or other music-loving companions. Admission starts at 2 pm. The stage program starts at 3 pm and ends around 6 pm. Tickets - also for the concerts by Vanessa Mai, Philipp Poisel and the interactive musical - are available at www.waldbühne.com, at the Sedlmair bookshop in Georgsmarienhütte and at the Osnabrück Tourist Information Office. Family tickets are available again this year, allowing up to two adults and up to three children to attend the "Summer Festival for Kids" at a special rate of 35 euros. It pays to be quick: the first 100 family tickets will be sold at a special price of just 30 euros. One-way tickets for adults are 14 euros, children pay 9 euros.
