80 years ago, on May 8, 1945,  the Second World War ended in Europe. For Germany, a double liberation from war and National Socialist dictatorship. For 80 years we have lived together in peace, democracy and the rule of law. The Christian churches in Osnabrück are inviting people to an open-air service on the market square to remember and celebrate this. With lots of music and singing together, with choirs and trombones. Come along, bring your neighbors and friends, because gratitude and hope are best experienced together.
Address: Regional Bishop Friedrich Selter
Participants: Dean Dr. Martin Schomaker, Superintendent Dr. Joachim Jeska, Pastor Ilse Landwehr-Wegner, Pastor Matthias Bochow and others.
Welcome address: Lord Mayor Katharina Pötter
