How does artificial intelligence (AI) copy human thinking? Why are its possible applications so broad? When will the AI colleague arrive? This basic lecture deals with the principles behind AI, its current use in various areas of life and the scenarios in which AI will have an even greater impact in the future. The lecture is particularly aimed at people with no prior knowledge who want to get a structured overview.
