The Bolivian pianist José Navarro-Silberstein has impressed audiences in more than 20 countries - in Europe, Asia and North and South America. The highly acclaimed musician has performed as a soloist with the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, the North German Philharmonic Orchestra Rostock, the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra and the La Paz Symphony Orchestra under conductors such as Timothy Redmond, Markus L. Frank, Wojciech Rajski and Andreas Penninger.
Navarro-Silberstein has won numerous prizes, including at the Anton Rubinstein Piano Competition in Düsseldorf and was a finalist at the 63rd Ferruccio Busoni Piano Competition.
He completed his studies in Weimar and with Claudio Martínez Mehner at the Musikhochschule in Cologne and completed an Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London with Norma Fisher. Since September 2023, he has been Artist in Residence at the renowned Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels. It is therefore a special pleasure to experience the impressive pianist on the occasion of the anniversary celebration at Klavierhaus Rohlfing.
