We show what makes cottage gardens special and how crop rotation protects the soil and strengthens plants. In keeping with the ice saints, we present tried and tested plant combinations that keep pests away and increase yields. We will also create a traditional milpa bed together - a sustainable mixed cultivation principle from indigenous American agriculture.
