Osnabrück 2025 Festival of Cultures - A Sunday of diversity and encounters

The "Festival of Cultures" will take place on Sunday, September 14, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and has been contributing in this form for almost 25 years to a lively exchange and dialog between different cultures in Osnabrück. Every year, over 60 different Osnabrück associations, communities, action groups and individuals from around 20 nations come together at the various stands on the market square to send out a clear signal for peaceful coexistence and cooperation between all cultures, religions and world views and to take a clear stand against racism and discrimination, especially in today's world.

Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to get to know culinary delicacies, exchange ideas and celebrate at specialty stands decorated in typical local style. There will also be information stands where guests can find out about the current projects of the various local cultural associations, organizations and integration policy initiatives or get involved in hands-on activities. The festival will be rounded off by a wide-ranging stage program with many traditional and modern dance and music performances from different cultures. International associations and their cultural groups, whether children or adults, from the city and region of Osnabrück present themselves to a wide audience on the stage. The festival is organized every year by the Office for Peace Culture in close cooperation with the participating associations, organizations and initiatives and with the support of numerous volunteers in order to strengthen cultural diversity and community in Osnabrück.
