In August, the MSC Osnabrück e.V. in the ADAC - supported by a strong network of partners - traditionally organises the International Osnabrück ADAC Hill Climb, probably the best-known and most popular motorsport event in northern and western Germany, on the 2,030 km cult circuit on the Uphöfener Berg in Hilter-Borgloh.
Around 150 drivers from around 15 countries will compete in spectacular open-wheel racing cars and high-horsepower touring cars for the best times against the clock in the FIA International Hill Climb Cup and in the national championships of automobile hill climb racing. Electric and hybrid cars compete in the future-oriented E-Mobile Hill Climb Cup.
The most northerly hill climb in Germany has been offering around 30,000 young and old fans exciting motorsport and an unforgettable experience with numerous event highlights every year since 1968: In the paddock, spectators can marvel at the racing cars up close, and many of the racing drivers are happy to have a little "petrol talk" and a photo between the races.
The ADAC Weser Ems also offers hands-on activities for different age groups, including the opportunity to try out various sports equipment. Other great activities organised by various partners of the hill climb, such as simulators, mini golf, soccer activities and much more, will whet the appetite for an extremely varied event.
For all those who cannot be there in person at the Uphöfener Berg, there will once again be a professional livestream this year. All practice and race runs on Saturday and Sunday will be broadcast online worldwide at www.osnabruecker-bergrennen.de. The programme booklet with all the important information, up-to-the-minute starter lists and interesting interviews and background stories will also be available online in good time at www.osnabruecker-bergrennen.de.
