Trained in the Russian piano tradition from an early age, she later enjoyed organ training at the Banská Bystrica Conservatory and the universities of Bratislava and Vienna.

She was particularly influenced by her studies and collaboration with Jean Guillou, Paris. Winner of several international competitions. In 2004, she was the first woman to win first prize at the International Organ Improvisation Competition in Haarlem (Netherlands).

In fall 2021, she was appointed professor at the Codarts University for Music in Rotterdam as the successor to Ben van Oosten and teaches organ performance there.

She regularly gives master classes, acts as a jury member in international organ competitions and pursues intensive concert and recording activities. Her focus as an interpreter is on the music of the Romantic period and the 20th century, in particular Franz Liszt and Jean Guillou. As a composer, she writes concert pieces for organ, piano and various instrumental combinations, as well as music for liturgy. She is the author of transcriptions of piano and orchestral works for organ.

Since 2018 she has recorded for the music house MDG as an exclusive artist. Since 2022 she has been a recording artist for the AEOLUS label:
New release 2023: " Symphonic Poems ", Jean Guillou/Franz Liszt on the organ of St. Eustache in Paris. With this album, the recording of the complete works of Jean Guillou including his transcriptions and unpublished works with Zuzana Ferjencikova for AEOLUS has begun. In preparation: Complete Works of Guillou Vol. 2 (Jean Guillou/Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart), recorded on the Guillou organ in Chant d'Oiseau, Bruxelles (2024).

In her Osnabrück concert she will play music by Robert Schumann (Four Sketches op. 58) and Modest Mussorgsky (Pictures at an Exhibition).
