Bad Rothenfelder Salzmarkt

Soon it will be "salt market time" again from Thursday to Sunday with hopefully 25 degrees, sun, fleecy clouds and a light breeze, enriched with the cool and salty air at the old graduation house. That's the wish....
 
But no matter what capers the weather has in store, the exhibitors are waiting in the wings, the food and drink stalls are stocked and well-known and new bands want to provide the perfect and varied entertainment.
 
This year we will be featuring:
"Time Tunnel" On Thursday evening from 19:30, let us take you on a musical journey back in time to the 60s and 70s, when long hair, flower power, love, peace and rock'n'roll became the way of life for an entire generation.
 
On Friday evening, we will change the decades. The 80s 90s live band presents hits and catchy tunes from the 80s and 90s with a mixture of pure energy and authentic entertainment. But also so-called and perhaps almost forgotten "one hit wonders" are of course not to be missed.
 
If you think the time of male choirs is history, you should think again. The "NEO" choir will bring a breath of fresh air to the choir scene with its repertoire and provide a surprise or two on Saturday afternoon between 14:30 and 16:30. If you take a look at the setlist, you will come across names such as Marius Müller-Westernhagen, Phil Collins, Die Toten Hosen and Höhnern, to name but a few.
 
Saturday evening is all about good acquaintances. "The Beat" is once again a guest at the Salzmarkt and guarantees a cult evening. So this date should also be worth a note in your calendar.
 
The Sunday morning pint is a little more hearty. "Die Katastrophenband" will be playing original Egerländer music. These unforgettable and catchy melodies simply invite you to linger in the cozy beer garden.
 
Richard K., for many years at home on his mobile stage or the stages of his hosts. With guitar and harmonica, neither hits from the 60s and 70s, Neue Deutsche Welle or cover songs are safe from him. His own compositions are also in his luggage. He will entertain the visitors of the Salt Market on Sunday afternoon and skillfully pass the time.
 
Not least and since the beginning of the Salt Market are the musicians of the Kur und Touristik Bad Rothenfelde, the "Ensemble Serenata". They are the guarantors of good entertainment and are always on stage from Thursday to Sunday. Music from hits to evergreens to ballads, no genre is foreign to the professional musicians.
For the little guests there is face painting: whether princess, mythical creature, flower or pirate, with color, imagination and glitter, magical living paintings are created on Thursday afternoon and on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. There's a bouncy castle to let off steam in between and if you meet "Clown Otty" at the market, he'll have plenty of fun ideas up his sleeve with his balloon modeling.
