The framework of the classical symphony concert will be expanded into a rousing cross-over event. The Balkan band with musicians Theodosii Spassov from Bulgaria and Miroslav Tadić from Serbia will get the audience dancing and spread a glowing atmosphere. Their cross-over arrangements combine classical music and jazz with Balkan folklore. György Ligeti's Concert Românesc is also inspired by Romanian folk music. Béla Bartók's Violin Concerto No. 1 is a declaration of love to the young violinist Stefi Geyer. Momentum, folkloristic influences and great emotionality will characterize the entire evening.
