Rumors of a monster roaming the seas drive the respected oceanographer Annorax out to sea. The sea monster turns out to be a submarine, led by Captain Nemo, an engineer on a vendetta. He shows Annorax and his companions the wonders of the deep sea and the secret behind an inexhaustible source of energy. But this makes them prisoners forever...
The Theater Lazarett (Aurich), in cooperation with the Theater Laboratorium (Oldenburg), tells an adventure story that critically examines the ideals of conquest and progress. The result is an evening that aims to give us ideas to catch our breath in the maelstrom of events.
