That's exactly what awaits you on April 3, 2025 at 7:30 pm in the Haus der Jugend Osnabrück! We present 1648 - The Musical. The highlight: Admission exclusively for everyone up to 27 years.

The play:

Young Marie von Sternberg lives in the Tecklenburger Hof, the town's poorhouse. She knows neither who she is nor where she comes from. But in 1648, an encounter changes her life: The Swedish Count Johan Oxenstierna, charismatic and influential, comes to Osnabrück to negotiate peace. Marie's intelligence, honesty and charm fascinate him - and against all social conventions, he involves her in the negotiations.

But their relationship is dangerous. Johan's wife, Anna Sture, does everything she can to prevent it. Mayor Schepeler and the imperial envoy are also outraged. Intrigue, power games and a forbidden love drive Marie deeper and deeper into a web of lies and secrets.

Who will win in the end? And what secret is Marie harboring - one that not even she herself knows?
