A professional musical production - and at a solidarity price?

We present 1648 - The Musical by Michael Przewodnik and Florian Albers. The special thing about this performance: the solidarity price concept. Everyone determines the ticket price according to their own financial situation. Those with fewer resources pay less - those who can afford it pay more. In this way, we make cultural participation possible for everyone.

1648 - the war rages, but a spark of hope glows in Osnabrück.

Marie von Sternberg lives in the Tecklenburger Hof, the city's poorhouse. She knows neither her origins nor her true self - only one thing is certain: her past lies in the dark. When Johan Oxenstierna, a powerful and charismatic Swedish count, comes to Osnabrück to negotiate peace, their paths cross. Fascinated by Marie's honesty, intelligence and charm, he draws her into the negotiations.

But their relationship is dangerous. Johan's wife, Anna Sture, does everything she can to prevent it. Mayor Schepeler and the imperial envoy are also outraged. Intrigue, power games and a forbidden love drive Marie deeper and deeper into a web of lies and secrets.
