An artistic-scientific conference of the University of Osnabrück and the Literaturbüro Westniedersachsen

Has the book had its day or is it experiencing a new heyday? How can schools and cultural institutions give reading a new lease of life? Do we perhaps need to think about "literature" in a completely different way? And what role do the new media play? Society has been grappling with all these questions for some years now. An artistic-scientific conference organized by the University of Osnabrück and the Literaturbüro Westniedersachsen is now addressing them - and explicitly inviting the public to participate and discuss. There will be lectures and panel discussions, as well as a poetry slam evening and a Neil Young tribute band. Another key component is the participation of young people in workshops and at the events themselves. Come and talk to experts, artists and other interested parties!

The event is sponsored by the Sparkasse Osnabrück Foundation, the Osnabrück University Society and the Felicitas and Werner Egerland Foundation.
