Schlager star Vanessa Mai kicks off the Waldbühne summer shows

For more than a decade, Vanessa Mai has been shaping the local music and show landscape with resounding success. After several number 1 albums and many single hits, she thrilled her audience with the big "Zuhause bei dir" tour last fall. This tour also included her new single "Himbeerrot", which premiered in September. The enthusiasm of the tour is likely to continue at the Waldbühne, where Mai will perform some of her best-known hits alongside her new song. And it will become clear that she has not only been on the road in the field of pop music throughout her career, but also does not shy away from R'n'B and hip hop. Her successful album "Metamorphose" from 2022 is the best proof of this. "We are of course delighted to have Vanessa Mai, a top-class and nationally renowned artist, as the opening act for our Waldbühne summer shows. Her show will not only win over die-hard fans, but also a wider audience from young to old, which is exactly what we want to achieve with our summer shows," says Astrid Kämmer from the municipal cultural office.
