Discover the starry sky, recognize constellations, explore the moon and the planets - experience the fascination of astronomy. This is the program at the stargazing sessions, where the kosmos-os team takes you on an astronomical journey in the open air. On the Vosslinke on the Piesberg, one of the darkest places in Osnabrück, you start your excursion into the stars. Participants need nothing but curiosity and an interest in the starry sky. If you like, you are welcome to bring your own binoculars or telescope.
Please note: The event only takes place when the sky is clear, as this is the only time the stars are visible. Therefore, please check the current implementation status on the MIK website on the day of the stargazing event!
If the event is canceled due to weather conditions, we will offer an alternative date on December 15 from 5 to 7 pm.
It is very important for all stargazing events: Wear warm clothing!
