In fairy tales, princesses have to be beautiful, they sleep and wait 100 years for the prince. Does this role model still relate to our image of women today or do they reinforce the traditional understanding of the roles of men and women?
With the help of various fairy tales, Sabine Meyer (Erzähltheater Osnabrück) will help us look between the lines and find some surprising truths. We experience women in fairy tales who take their lives into their own hands and find happiness at the end of the road. And we find a mirror into our own inner world in the fairy tales.
