Reading is usually a solitary affair. The Silent Reading Party changes that: people meet in a cozy, inviting place to read together - but each for themselves - in peace. Everyone brings a book, switches off their cell phone, orders a drink and reads. This creates a special atmosphere, an infectious sense of relaxation and concentration. The Silent Reading Party is a counter-program to constant accessibility and sensory overload and creates a setting in which you can concentrate on just one thing without the distractions of everyday tasks and mobile devices: reading.
