Cultures all over the world tell fairy tales about the happiness that peace brings and about the longing to live in peace with one's fellow human beings.
To mark the International Day of Peace, storytellers Sabine Meyer and Frauke Freise contrast the reality of war with the longing for a peaceful fairyland. With their stories, they lead the listener from conflict to hope, from the dark forest to the warm light and from discord to the possibility of finding peace. Together with pianist Christoph Guddorf, they weave their own longing for peace into the story.
