Elon the hamster is a curious inventor who lives on a garbage dump with all kinds of interesting things. When he finds a robot one day, he makes a daring decision. Elon wants to use science to take the alien visitor into space to his spaceship. To achieve his goal, he struggles with the pitfalls of technology and repeatedly reaches his limits. After all, space travel is not for little hamsters ... or is it?
The show "3-2-1-Liftoff!" explains how space travel works and surprises with many unexpected twists and turns. It was produced by the Czech animation studio Krutart in collaboration with the Planetarium Prague and Experimenta Heilbronn. The show was supported by the Czech Film Fund. It received several awards, including the Audience Award 2022 at the renowned Fulldome Festival in Brno and the Janus Award 2022 at the Fulldome Festival of the Zeiss Planetarium in Jena.
