From November 28 to December 14, 2025, Melle's town hall square and the church square at St. Matthew's Church will be transformed into a Christmas village of stalls that attracts tens of thousands of visitors year after year. It is certainly the cozy atmosphere in the shadow of the church towers of St. Matthew's and St. Peter's Church as well as the historic town hall that makes the Melle Christmas market unmistakable. With a stylish ambience created by over 65 wooden stalls, the large illuminated entrance arches and the atmospheric tree lighting, the Melle Christmas market is now one of the best known and largest in north-west Germany.
The Melle Christmas market opens daily from 14:30 to 20:00, as well as on Saturdays from 11:00 and Sundays from 13:00
