Seven years ago, Julia's cousin Roderich emigrated to faraway Thingy. On their departure, the two swore eternal love and agreed to send each other love greetings every night via the moon. Since then, Julia has sung to the "radiant moon that dwells in the firmament" every night, hoping to persuade Roderich to return. Suddenly, two strange men appear and claim to be Roderich.
