Annette Hanekamp is an artist from Osnabrück who was born in Lorup, Emsland in 1965. She has lived in Osnabrück since 1990 and is a social worker, artist, passionate coffee drinker and member of the "Alte Post" studio group. In her works, Annette Hanekamp deals with chance. The "coffee oracles" are created in the morning after breakfast with the last sip of coffee, which is transformed on the paper. In the large-format collages, too, pictorial worlds emerge from randomly appearing forms. Found objects and gleanings flow into the pictures. She is showing a selection in the exhibition entitled "nothing is permanent...." at Fabi vom.....
On the creation of her pictures in the exhibition: "nothing is permanent", she says: "...it's a game. - In the morning after breakfast, the last sip of coffee lands on the paper, poured, poured - however - and transforms. From the coffee stain figures, scenes emerge ... which I merely complete with pen and brush, some black or white paint. So I am only partially responsible for the content :-)."
